Budget Amp for Energy RC10 Bookshelves

So i should have these awesome looking Energy RC10 Bookshelves on monday for my computer setup.

I am planning on using the Preouts on my Audio-GD C2.2 for volume control, So all i need is a basic amp or chaper AVR.

Right now i have an old Yamaha Receiver (HTR-5730) that will do the job temperarily but i would like to upgrade to something more "audiophile grade" without breaking the bank.

So basically im looking for a 100-175 @8ohms amp that wont break the bank, thinking around $200-$300.

You guys have any suggestions for an amp to check out?

the only amp i have in mind so far is the Emotive UPA-2 but its out of stock currently.

any suggestions appreciated

The UPA-2 is a great amp for the money. You might try the little A-100 but my money would go towards a used amp like a Adcom, Carver or Rotel. Try Canuckaudiomart.com too.
