Best Headphones for Heavy Metal/Rock with Punching Bass

Hey all.

Just discovered this website and I'm hoping to get some recommendations. Currently I have a pair of HD215s (Sennheiser) they're good but the bass is rather... lacking.

99% of my music is heavy metal, rock, grunge, all the different flavours of guitar, drums, bass guitar and vocals.

Most of the time I am listening to heavy metal (stuff like Lamb of God, Metallica, Murderdolls, Megadeth, Iron Maiden) and also rock (AC/DC, Van Halen, Rush)

I'm looking at getting a pair of headphones that have great punch for bass... I really want to feel the bass and go well with heavy metal.

Will be using these for my room at home so leakage, look and style is no concern at all. I'm 100% aiming for sound.
I don't want to go over $200 (on sites like Amazon etc.) but I will go over a little if it seems worth it.

I was looking at the XB700s by Sony but apparently metal and rock doesn't come out that well on them :/

Cheers guys.

EDIT: Also, I know how to utilize an EQ quite well so I can manipulate the raw sound for my liking :)

Bass is important but you want more treble and mids. The sennheiser hd 25 1 ii can be had for $180 and has punchy bass and well extended treble. They are my go to cans for metal under $200. The xb700 is bad for metal. You will hear drums and bass guitar and everything else will be muffled. I have tried them.

I'm a metalhead so take my opinions for what you will.
