Best 'neutral' headphone that's easily driven out of an iPod or Clip - Page 2

if you don't mind weight and don't mind going used and similar to your df's, the pioneer monitor 10 is worth look at. use to use with my ipod and so forth. even though it's heavy it's very comfy i thought. it's not made anymore but it's probably one of the most natural sounding closed headphones you'll get. they pop up quite frequently so you might end up getting them pretty cheap. if need cushion pad replacements the pioneer SE series uses same pads and cushions and can get those dirt cheap and use as spare parts.

Well they're probably out then if there's any truth to your assessment. I once had a good closed studio monitor....the dt250...but for some reason that I can't put a finger on, the mids seemed boring and a bit recessed, so I sold it to fund other purchases.
