The mids.  We're hardwired to pay the most attention to the human voice.

True.

I'm somewhat of a Basshead, but I answered mids for this exact reason. If there are vocals in the song it's the first thing that I listen for.

I want good full-spectrum sound, but if there's anything my experiences with a Stax SR-Lambda and an SR-202 have taught me, it's that I like my vocals to stand out instead of getting lost in the music, and for everything to sound smooth yet clear and detailed, if that makes sense.

Detailed treble since am big on vocals and want the clearest sound possible. Midrange would come in second for a more complete sound. Am not into heavy bass and prefer a balanced full sound with a 1970s unnoticeable bass background.

I voted for bass, but consider mids equally important; I love good mid-bass presentation. The highs should be...somewhere.

i cant vote for just one.. Although the mids certainly do "capture" me the most, i cant live with headphones that dont have both excellent mid and bass qualities...and treble ;-)

I voted for the bass, because although the mid-range is the most important I feel that it is the least dependent on the quality of the recording and/or equipment. Bass changes greatly with either.

Mids. Can't get enough of vocals sometimes, it adds an effect to some music that makes it...Addicting to listen to?
