How do you find the sample rate of a .flac file?

Or am I missing something here?

Try to check its properties from within your software player.

 

You can make a quick estimate from file size, but that differs depending on how compressable the file is and what the bit depth is. When in doubt assume 44.1 kHz if you don't know the source (CDs are always 44.1 kHz).
