cursor returns to beginning of sentence at random times

Since the last update, every couple of minutes when I go to a new line or navigate, the typing cursor will switch to the beginning of the sentence which is annoying.

 

I'll try and pinpoint what I'm doing to make it easier to diagnose.

 

I'm on chrome on Windows 7

 

edit: It seems to be tied with the backspace.

This is me typing this is a test this is a test this is about to be a backspace aaaand that backspace is working for me.

 

Continuing testing nothing so far blah blah blah blah blah blah blah whatever underline..yes, the cursor jumps to the beginning of the word when using backspace on an italicized word.  Trying 

again

 

...and that happens.  Okay, reporting.  Thanks all.

ITS... STILL... HAPPENING!!!

 

RARGH

 

I notice it most in PMs.

 

btw, I'm not insane. It's happened four times in the same message. Over and over and over.
