I currently have this nice little Sony micro hifi system that I purchased for around £300. Now, I need a Headphone amp and DAC for use with this system. It has an audio jack on the front, but when I try to connect my headphones, I can't hear anything. Is this normal? Do I have to connect an amp first? It has a USB and an audio in jack on front, so can I connect through that? Btw, I have a limit of £300 to spend
