Wasn't sure what to expect out of the box because of all the mixed reviews. By mixed you would see 9 that love and totally swear by Ultrasone but then there was always one troll hating on em and...
This is a review of a pair of free IEM's I recieved from DUNU as part of a give away contest they recently held here on Head-fi.
When I recieved my package the first thing I notices was...
Best closed headphones I had heard - very flat response, almost no midrange distortion, very easy to drive (good for portable), good soundstage (definately better than K240), good isolation, but...
Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...
Hi guys,a family friend is willing to sell some beats pro for £100 do you reckon that the PRO'S are worth it at that price tag or should I invest in the Grado SR80i???
Yeah, you're in the wrong forum. However, the Pros are actually nice headphones (if you know for sure they're the pros). I'd personally actually go for the Pros over the SR60 at 100.
That's not to say they're any good compared to anything else in their MSRP range or that anything below them is good.
The avatar is freaking creepy! The vertical slits/shape for the eyes, the branches taht seem like tear tracks, combined with the top of the headband that creates some kiind of twisted smile.
I thought it was a clever design in the avatar! If you have the chance, LISTEN to them both, because they are WAY too different to say which one IS better, find out which one YOU find better. Lots of capitals :).
Be sure to also check out cheaper solutions from AKG and Sennheiser (again very different sound signatures).
Yeah i have listened to the pro's and the treble seems slightly recessed but the bass is nice. The mids were ok. Im sort of edging towards the sr80i because i listen mainly to rock and well they seem to be the best at rock music. I will check out AKG and sennheiser and see if there is anything else i might consider
@ OP, the Beats Pro is definitely one of the better sounding and most well balanced headphones offered by Monster Cable. I would go for it if you really want them. The Beats Pro's sound pretty good imo but aren't worth buying if you're getting them at a retail cost.
But if you decide to not get the Beats off your family friend, go for a pair of Ultrasones. :D
