I'm selling a Stax 4070 in good condition.
I'm the third owner.
I don't have the original receipt but as far as I know the Stax is 5 years old.
The drivers have both been replaced in late 2008 due to a failed driver (damaged in transit probably by heavy vibrations).
Since then the headphones have been used for certainly less than 200 hours even though the SR-4070 was one of my favourites..I do have lots of headphones and several pairs of loudspeakers and I do work a lot so each one can't get much use.
The ear pads and head band are not new but still in decent condition.
Reason for sale : I'm not that much of a headphones guy anymore.Nowadays I do prefer loudspeakers and I want to collect funds for better and unfortunately expensive loudspeakers.
