This is a very difficult decision for me, but I've decided that I need to let go of this fantastic Violectric V200 Amp/DAC due to some urgent need for cash. It was either this or the WA6SE that had to go, and since I know V200 is going to be an easier sell and I'd prefer to have a tube amp around (I still have my backup solid state amp in GLite), it unfortunately has to be the V200. It's a real shame because I really loved the sound of this amp. I may likely purchase it again down the road when my financial situation allows me to.
The amp was purchased from aphroditecu29, well known authorized dealer for Violectric in the NA. I purchased it back in May and it has seen about an hour daily use since then. The unit has not been moved at all and is obviously in mint condition with no flaws to speak of. This version comes with the plain jane 16/44 USB DAC that I only got as a backup, but does a fine job nonetheless.
I believe the retail for the V200 is around $1000 (actually cost me around $1200 including duties, etc), therefore I've decided to price this unit at $820 price including shipping to Canada/USA. I'd like to give priority to Canadian Head-fi'ers if possible so they don't have to worry about shipping and duty fee and such, but US buyers are also welcome to put in their offers. If it's a local sale here in Toronto, Canada, then I can let it go for $800. I'd like the payment in Paypal only, and please add 3% paypal fee (~$25) if you are not willing to make the payment in gift. I have the original shipping box (which does a very good job of protecting the amp) which I will double box as well.
