Foobar -> 5.1 surround with ortho? - Page 3

I know that with your settings the sounstage is  bigger. You get a better surround feeling but I can hear distortions and with your high quality headphones I wonder that you don't hear them.

But if don't hear them your settings are good for you. Without this distortions I would prefer your settings too.

 

My settings are a compromise between getting surround and not altering the original stereo image to much and could  also be used on a real 5.1 system.

i see, well for me i think the distortion is too small to bother me. Now i wana see these settings with the he-500!
