Any recommendation on which amp will best synergize with PRO80? I will use it mainly on laptop and desktop pc. I am eyeing on this G3 tube headphone amp http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=13217433197 which is an OEM of indeed tube amp

I can not in anyway shape or form recommend the Indeed amps, they are Ok for the price, but not really something to write home about, they got serious problems with crosstalk which drove me crazy, when I had one..

There is a guy here on headfi that sells one called "sunrise" which is a truly well buildt Indeed, without the problems that the Indeed suffers under..

I am not a tubeguy, I got an OTL tube amp. and two different Xcans modded by Pink Floyd, but I honestly prefer solid stage, it has a much more "true" sound to me, it is a personal reference.

An amp. that really rocks my boat is the ALO Recept, it is a bit expensive, but sounds really great...

GD audio also makes very nice things and if you do not have a separate DAC (if you intend to use your PC for music) I would recommend an DAC/Amp. like the Sparrow or one of their bigger models..

Also the Aune X1 is quite good with the Pro80, the DAC alone is more than worth the price and the amp is OK.

To me the Pro80 sounds best with a fairly neutral amp..

A well buildt Cmoy like the ones Zigi is selling on ebay, will blow the Indeed out of the water..

But remember it all depends on what you like and, what you hear, mine and others opinions can be very different as we all have differnt taste and our hearing are also different.

I have. I bought it more than a month ago and I'm enjoying it. It's far better than all my Sluxes and CAL in terms of over all SQ and the build is superb for me. It's really a bang for the buck. Ive got it for only 60 USD. The only con is the sibilance but I can live with that.

Are you referring to HI2050? If you are referring to this HP, its cheaper, it is only about 27 usd here in China and the build quality is really nice. 

Uhm...yea, that's a bit cheaper.

Looks interesting. But I'd stick with the name brand. Get them used here for about $200.

If you did choose to buy the Takstar instead of the Beyers you would not be needing the beyers at all...

The siblance is cured at about the 200 hour mark and with an good amplifier..

Why is it better to use 200 on a used pair when you can get something better new and at half the price ?

A poster mentioned that it was 27 $ at that price it is a total nobrainer also at dubble the price or even trible, they are really good VFM..

Hi Claus, thanks for the insights about the PRO80, Im really enjoying it better than my sluxes and Creative Aurvana Live. I was about to pull the trigger for the Aune X1 but I saw some of your posts in your website(hoved-fi) and saw the link of HA Info DAC/Amp. Now I am choosing between  this DAC/AMP http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=2018359534 and Aune X1. Do you think this will synergize well with PR080? This HA info DAC/AMP will be used also for my future HP acquisition. 

Glad you liked it, it has become qiuite popular on our danish site also, the X1 is an OK match with the pro80, it suffers a bit in the amp department, but the DACpart is very fine indeed..

Overall it is a good DAC/amp and is hard to best at the price..

The Audinst HUD is very nice match for the pro80, it has an better amp, but not quite as good in the DAC as the x1, I guess you can not get both in one machine..

I have been eyeing those HAinfo amps/DAC for years now, I need to get my fingers in some of their products soon..

Read a lot of good stuff about the 94, but would prefer the bigger brother 98..

Do you by any chance have info on the company making them, I have tried to figure it out for some time, but with no luck, being from China you should have an easier job naviating the chinese webpages..

BTW it would be cool with a chinese member, fell free to post in english..

I am communicating with the manufacturer of the HA Info audio products and asked about the NG98 and told me that its out of stock and the upgrade version will be coming out probably next week and it would be called DA1. now, Im waiting for its release to pair with my PRO80 and I just hope he's not exaggerating when he said it will drive K701, DT990, HD650 easily but if it can synergize well with PR080 and my other HP's that would be ok because its not that expensive.  I think, i can still extract more juice from PR080 if I can get hold of a good amp.

Hi, does the  PRO 80 actually come with that box case from the link a few pages back? Also where are you buying these from? I live in Canada and am interested in the HI2050. I have only found one on eBay and some on Aliexpress, a site which I am not familiar with so far.
