I was going to get the fostex but with all the modding to make it sound it's best. It also doesn't have the most open stage.

Patience is a virtue lol

Go for the 2050, but remember it needs a decent amp to shine..

Thanks man, I will keep that in mind!  beyersmile.png

Would the fiio e11 work well with the 2050? That's the only amp I have and the reason i'm buying these is because of the low price.

Also, is seaben.com a good place to buy this product?

Any answers are appreciated.

Silent.

Anyone? Sorry I'm impatient again, I want some new phones already and there are so many options. If I get an answer to those questions above, I will make my final and exciting decision! L3000.gif

Do not know the Fioos so really can not comment on those, but it will be better than your average player..

I have bought mine at aliexpress, but seaben should AFIK be OK..

Also keep in mind that they need about 100 hours of burnin, the first hours they feel a bit anemic in the bass department..

No experince with Ha info .... yet

Right now I am waiting for FA1 from siliconray.com, can not wait til it gets here..

Since the best headphone output I have, is from my portable sony player, I cannot review the sound. Few words: It s kind of detailed, but not enought to be "interesting", can say sterile, no big sound. Even when listening classical music, I could hear, that the bass is "all the same"(again: not burned, ****ty output). Certainly, these are not made for (most of) portable players nor the integrated sound card. So BIG WARNING in this way.

Headphones are well made, no "hidden flaws" found. Very nice for the price.

You need to let them burnin, they change quite a bit..

Claus, did you tried pro-80 with the velvet hi-2500 cushions? And vice-versa, did you tried hi-2500 with the pro-80 leather cushions?

I can buy cushions separately for both models, so I wonder which combination is the best? Thanks

The leatherpads give a bit more bass on both models, the velourpads gives a bit more space, the difference is not huge by any means, the velourpads ar bigger inside and can help if the pro80 is to small or the ears are to big...

Comfortwise it is a matter of taste..

Where can you find those pads ??

The best pads for both are the leather ones from Fisheraudio..

thinking about getting both the pro-80 and the hi-2050

would the m-stage usb be good enough to power these?

these sellers are already shipping them with the spare velour or leather pads:

pro80: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=10605176671

hi2050: http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=4366939567
