The TS662 are great if you plan on modding them. Otherwise, stay away.

The Cloud V1 don't have detachable cable as can be seen here. AFAIK, neither the Cloud V2 cable is detachable. The cable is paracord reinforced and feels very durable though.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I thought I did... Look at all the cables it comes with...

Hmm, just the pro 80 is 50 dollars, but the extra cost of the Hyper Cloud X may be worth it if it comes with a detachable cable and that sound card, it does come with that surround sound card right?

Because I would think the Hyper Cloud X would be a great gaming headset in versatility, but just for gaming? Meh, its soundstage is pretty small, and though I've never heard it, I would guess Razer's Hydra would have a much wider soundstage. The Pro 80's 3d positioning was pretty good however, it was pretty immersive.

At first I thought so, but these cables are actually extension cables, only the shortest one has a single 3.5 jack. Connect them all together and you can plug the headphone to a device across the room. I guess they're for playing games or watching movies in front of a TV.

The V2 does have a sound card, the V1 only has a physical volume control.

I think the leatherette ear pads reduce the soundstage. The velour ear pads are taller and firmer which keep your ears further from the drivers, but unfortunately the sound will become too fatiguing. I've been thinking of getting a pair of HM5 pads to see if they help the soundstage, but they would be quite expensive ordering from my place.

Errrrr..... No thank you if that's the case. LOL. That would be ugly as Schiit and very inconvenient. But if I did get them, I'll mod them to have the cables removable. Could even use a 5 pin mini XLR for the connector; 2 contacts for the mic and 3 contacts for the headphones, would be perfect! :)
