I use the DT770 Pro 80 & 250-Ohm headphones, any idea on how the sound of the Pro80s compares to them?

I'm sorry but I haven't tried any Beyer.

If it does, i'll be an extremely happy owner, if not, oh well, still a good value, I posted a review aswell.

I would say running the pro80 is Ok with a Sansa clip, the 2050 is borderline, it is almost good but one knows what it can with an amp, so not so good....

Keller@ please link to your review..

I just hope more will open their eyes to these discount phones..

My HI2050s arrived 10 days earlier then expected (shipped from Hong Kong).

Just got these in today...

DSC01215.JPG

Technical Pro HPT990s. Other than the headband and color scheme they look almost identical to the HI2050s, even internally, so im guessing TP got these from Takstar, or whoever OEMs for Takstar. I guess they had to change the look abit to avoid legal trouble with Beyer tongue.gif

This may just be new toy syndrome talking but im really liking how they sound so far.

Great Hon http://www.greathon.com.tw/ seems to be the OEM maker of these headphones, and many others (I recognize some of their headphones).

At the very least, they have a very nice-looking frequency response graph, so they seem like a nice set of headphones.

I think it is the other way around, Takstar is the OEM maker for greathon, if  you look at Takstars homepage, you would see that there are pictures of a HUGE factory..

Looks like they're an international distributor of OEM products.

Does anybody know where I could order a Takstar headphone? I need a place which ships to Europe.
