A good DAC for an iBasso T5?

Hey guys,

I'm new to this scene and I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for a good USB DAC to use in conjunction with an iBasso T5. I've read many reviews raving about the E10 and E7 and it seems the E10 wins out in this category. I don't need to carry the DAC like an iPod. It would be hooked up to my computer all the time I'm listening to it. Do any of you have any opinions as to the sound quality from the T5 amp vs. the E10 amp section?

Thanks

HRT Media Streamer II. USB powered, small, does 24/96, affordable, seems to be the best in that range. I have a T5 and MSII on their way to me now.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will definitely look into that. I haven't come across it yet. Those 2 components together run into the $300 range, so my question is this: Why would you not go for a combined DAC/Amp unit more in that price range? Do the separate components typically have better performance than the combined versions?

That's what I would suggest -- sell the T5 and buy an Amp/DAC combo, like the iBasso D-Zero.  The D-Zero is supposed to be very good -- I wasn't impressed with the Fiio E11 amp section -- not very strong, IMO.
