Right, as something of a newbie to over the head headphones, i was keen on getting the dr dre beats solo as ive heard theyre really bassy and personally with looking around non-stop for almost 2 days going through sennheiser, skullcandy, AKG, Denon etc I believe that theyre the best looking. But from looking online and what my mates are telling me, i can get a lot more for my money. Plus by the sounds of things beats are prone to breaking
Ive been a metalcore/post-hardcore fan for a long time now (...a day to remember/devil wears prada/hundredth and the like), so this would be essential as i am also the drummer in a post-hardcore band. But i have only just gotten into hardcore dubstep, (skrillex/rusko/flux pavillion). I am more focused on my metal if i am honest, but as i love breathtaking bassy tones in my metal, i cant see these two genres clashing in styles, or am i wrong? Also, i just want to know what phones you would suggest. Im going into HMV soon to try some out. All i really want is, breathtaking bass quality, durability, comfort and probably looking at no more expensive than 150. But i can stretch a tad further if needed. But as i have previously been using £20 sennheiser in-ear headphones, whatever you suggest will probably be a step up anyway :). Look forward to hearing your suggestions
