They're ideal for gaming. I use my A30's for gaming and music as well. I've never used Astro's in ear set so I can't say with certainty how they would do. I'm assuming they'd be better suited for music than the on/over ear 'phones since they're meant to be sealed. Personally, I love the clarity that mine have but they could use a little more bass (that's where the amp comes in handy).

Bravo!!!!  Ive brought this up in a thread I made comparing the S4s to the SL99s.  Didnt get too much response from anyone.  The SL99s are my IEM.  I love the way they sound....... and the styling. wink.gif
