I need your help - is these Monster Turbine pro Gold Fake or not?

Hello,

My first post, so please be nice. My native language isnt english.

I bought these thou ebay. On arrival they were wrapped (and they should be since they was listed as new). With that said....

I opened them and noticed ear wax, and also one (1) opened super tip bag. Okey, most likely re-wrapped.

Yes I know there are many fakes around the market - but i didnt think in those terms before I placed the order.

But, could some experts see if these are fake or not? the head phone adapter is silver-grey. Should it be in that colour?

I need your help in this to be able to do a claim.

Edit: It was "a sticky" feeling during opening of one of the bags - also rust?!

The cable is 36cm to the splitter.

Best Regards

They are either fake or monster refurbs

Hope you didn't pay more than $99 for them

They seemed a used REAL pair, if it was listed as NEW, and didn't ave the film around the packaging, you can claim your money back for false advertising via ebay's buyers rights claims.

They are real, due to the nozzle/head:
I have a VERY informative thread about real vs fakes.

The problem is that they where wrapped (re-wrapped). Word against word. But the seller is "sorry" and will make a refound.

I also think the nossle head looks real but i dont know if the sound is right. They could be a little bit "broken" or just anyting. The bass wasnt so impressive as i imagined.

I think its best ro make a refound.

you need to give them burn-in + have the best fit - but the bass I know...my TFTA 1XB's are mind blowing in bass, my denon AH-c710's I had were as good as the MTPG's.

Thus why the MTPG's in my eyes are around around £130, I would only pay extra vs the denon's simply because of their lifetime warranty + all their accessories they came with.

Alright, thats true. The fit is awfuly hard on these. Only the small tripples does fit - and they fit awsome! The foam isnt user friendly at all. They expand way to fast (is these comply foam tips?)

I have Denon C560R which have some bass but does not sound too great. Does the C710 have even more bass or just the same as 560?

I really love my vsonic but they lack some bass when Im at the gym.

TFTA 1XB's - Extract or zip these numbers into a complete name ;)

560's should have less bass than the 710's - but I can't comment on the 560's = I've never heard them.

Here is my review of the TFTA's enjoy.

These particular turbines wasnt a fake. Bought a pair from a authorized dealer and the details and everything was exactly the same.

Mabye could be of some use for anyone whos trying to figure out if their gold edition is fake or not.
