Looking for long headphone cable

I am trying to find a good length headphone cable (8-10 feet) that will plug directly into my headphones, standard 3.5 to 3.5mm. The main point is so that I can sit a distance away on the couch. I have a universal auxiliary cable but it's standard size and won't fit in the opening of my Crossfade LP's.

I know there are many extension cables out there but I'm trying to avoid that.

I'm not sure if you just want a serviceable replacement cable, or something in the nature of a premium cable. One interesting option would by the new Bridges and Falls series from AudioQuest. Although I think at 10 feet, the cheapest option (Evergreen) would be around $40.

I'm after the same thing as you, Matt, for some Fischer FA-003s that I've just ordered.  Looking at the Audio Quest link it appears that they don't do one mini jack to 2 x mini jack (or 6.35mm jack) which is what I think we're both after?

You basically need a custom mini to mini cable, where one end of it is the Oyaide mini plug (the model intended for Ultrasone) - it has a narrow diameter below the base of the plug where it inserts into the headphone.  These are probably a little narrower at the end than the Neutrik mini, even.  They're the only off the rack part that has a hope of fitting.  You could post some pix so I could see specifically what we're up against.
