Sorry if I got people scared or something. I'm just somewhat paranoid, as there's a lot of scumbags in this world. I'm sure Head-fiers in general would never do such a thing, but you never know.
I was referring to buying a used D7000 that someone may have bought and tampered with in order to get the better drivers for their own D2000/D5000, then returned the downgraded D7000. Return policies are great, but its not impossible to find a scumbag that would take advantage of it.
I wonder how closely inspected returned headphones are.
