Looking for groups along the lines of Rare Earth and Booker T. & The MG's.  The more organ the better.

Any suggestions would be just fantastic.

Really really enjoying The Ides Of March "Vehicle".  This is almost dead on to what I'm looking for.

Blood Sweat & Tears "Child Is The Father To The Man" I'm ok with, but not something I think I'm going to listen to that much, is there a different album I should check out?

I listened to a few songs from James Taylor Quartet and Soulive on youtube, and it's not really my thing, more into 60's/early 70's for this style of music.  Thanks for the suggestions though!

Heavy Organz: Jimmy Smith, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Charles Earland for Jazzy tastes- and Jackie Mittoo for something unique (and amazing).  But Brian Auger can't be ignored, I like the work he did with the singer Julie Driscole.
