Need some recommendations

Hello, I would like to get a good pair of headphones. Ever since I got my first iPod I have always had earbuds. But I would like some over the ear headphones. Right now I'm interested in the Beats Solo HD but I don't know any other brands. When I go to Best Buy to look at them the Beats are the only ones that catch my eye. I really like the style of them and the sound isn't to bad either. Are there any other headphones you guys can recommend me that look good? I want something with a good bass but not to overwhelming and something that can fold to make them smaller like the Beats. I also don't want anything bulky and don't want to spend more then $200.

Edit: I just saw a thread about guidance. Sorry should of paid more attention.

My first thought is the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 which goes for $120 at SoundProfessionals.

This doesn't fit your "fold up" requirement, but I also heavily suggest the V-Moda M80 or V80. Both of them have incredibly durable build quality, excellent sound, and look pretty good. They also have an emphasis on bass.

The Phiaton MS400 also fits all of your requirements.

Thanks. The Audio-Technica ones look nice. I will probably look into them some more. Anyone have anything else that may be better then the Audio-Technica? I watched some reviews on them on Youtube and everyone liked them. One review said they were the best headphones that were less then $200.

They have a pretty good bass response, but some people find them to be uncomfortable. It depends on your head size, shape, etc..

Ok thank you. I think I crossed those off my list.

Right now it looks like I'm getting the M50. But I was at Costco today and saw they had the Crossfades LP for cheap. They seem like good headphones. But I see that they get mixed reviews from here.

What do you guys have against Skullcandy? I went to Bestbuy to see what demos they had. They had skullcandy and the ones I tried were very comfortable. I believe they were the Aviators.

Skullcandy is about a cool style. Not much about sound quality.

Have you considered ultrasones? the HFI-580's have a good bass response. Some people like it over the M50's.

I've read on here and on some reviews on Amazon that they aren't very comfortable. Who thought picking out headphones would be such a hard decision! So many to choose from.

So now I'm starting to lean towards the HFI 580. The only thing holding me back is the comfort of them. Also I should add I listen to mostly hip-hop. I'm so bad with decisions.

Changed my mind again. Going to get the Crossfades LP since there $80 at Costco. I think they will do me well for my first set of quality headphones. I guess I will have to deal with them not being able to fold them to make smaller.

Got the Crossfades LP for Christmas! Love them so far and an excellent pair of headphones for my first set. Only thing thats weird is all the reviews I watched on Youtube they have a black box and a vip card inside. The one from Costco has a white box and no vip card. But it does come with an extra pair of metal plates in red.
