What receiver can I get for <150?

First inclination is to look for an old Marantz on eBay. Are there any other specific brands/models that I should look into for the price?

What are you going to be using the receiver for, music, movies, gaming?

What speakers do you currently have?

How important is using headphones?

These speakers:

I'll only be using it for music, and I might use my headphones to listen from time to time, but that's not of tantamount importance.

If you can live without the tuner, I'd suggest looking at yamaha and denon integrateds from the 80s to early 90s.

I would say watch your local Craigslist, see what pops up

Some people might sell a receiver cheaper then what it's really worth.

Also post this question to the AVSforum website, lots more receiver talk there.

I'd also say don't look for Marantz on ebay.  I owned and loved a 4430 for many years. But today there is a cache to even solid state vintage Marantz that has made it a poor buy on a purely price:performance basis.  If you're on a tight budget, look elsewhere unless you're looking for a defective unit to restore yourself.
