Nah, I've been pretty dug down in the diary thread for the most part, with a little post here and there - very occasionally. I'm still here though, reading more than I post.

I've added some basic foam around inside the enclosure, and toned down the bass quite a bit that you get with the HD201. I've tried to make it more mid-centric and warm, but it still seems a bit uninvolved sometimes. It's a work-in-progress, but it's getting there.

Not bad for $20 and some free drivers, though.

That's a $5 stand from Best Buy  Thanks - but that's only a crappy 8mp cell phone.  I just got to get a better camera.  Yes Colorware.  Had to wait 5 weeks..  that was long..

Shoot me some tips on the spoken word stuff.  I would like to get into that.

If you're at all into Hip Hop and want good spoken word get some Saul Williams. 

The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust would be my pick. Just...legendary. Reznor really brought a lot to the table with Saul.

Hope you like it. Easily the best live show I've ever seen. 

He does a ton of spoken word stuff between songs in his live shows. It's amazing.

Listening to my SR-009s tonight with some Mahler (Symphony No. 6) and now some Jason Mraz and holy moly! I've had them for several months now, but the instrumental separation, clarity, transparency and musicality...simply continue to amaze me!

Considering that my T1's are being serviced, HE-6's have not yet arrived, and SR125 in need of some fixing. I am proudly rocking... nothing. 

And hey... that's 200 posts. :P
