You're paying more for the apple brand than anything, and the software is lacking in comparison to windows and Linux

That's a very subjective statement, all computers are an outstanding value these days. Of course you're paying more for Apple, but a lot of that is their amazing ergonomics and aesthetics.

Please...oh god just stop this before it begins. There will be an unneeded and totally thread-unrelated s@#tstorm of fans of either side with ultimately noone winning the argument because either side refuses to accept defeat...

It comes down to if you want functionality, or something that looks nice.

I like the former.

Not mine but atm, comparing extensively 009 vs O1 vs O2 mk1. Like the latter two.

I like both, and both platforms function very well (my Macs actually run Windows as well as OS X). I'm not understanding the issues.

I seem to have had bad luck with headphones lately so I am resorting to the set that came with my iPhone. I have to tell you that these are probably the most uncomfortable set I have had in quite some time. They don't seem to fit in my ears right, but they work so I can't complain a whole lot.

Listening to The Time They Are a-Changin' on my PRO 750s. Despite the slightly recessed mids, I think these are better suited for this album, and other folk albums, than my old K501s. Harmonica solos were just absolutely brutal on the K501s, even at very low volumes. I'd have my amp turned so low it was just above the channel imbalance, and it was still too intense on the K501s.

One day I'm going to own a pair of CD900STs again, but in the mean time, these will do just fine. cool.gif
