I was taking the LIRR today, sitting down with my friend next to me and showing her my dt 770. Then this guy behind me asks "Is that a dt 880?", to which I respond "It's a dt 770, but i have the 880 in my room". Then he told me he had some ultrasones, and found out we live very close to each other in my school's campus. I told him he should come over to my room sometime to check out my setup; he agreed and we exchanged phone numbers! :D

I sometimes wear my dt 770 around my school campus, but this was the first time that someone actually recognized a beyerdynamic. So this event made my day, cause all i ever see in campus are beats solo/studio, and the occasional pro. Once in a while I see people with some Shures.

Everyone seems to be so much more fortunate than me. No matter where I've gone, I've never met another Head-Fi'er. I've seen two or three M50s, a P5 or two, and the occasional low-end Sennheiser out and about, but never have I run into anybody or been approached by anybody who knows their stuff. It saddens me.

I'm in Texas. I don't even know why we have fireplaces. They never get used. :D Don't worry.

I know the feeling. I lived in Wisconsin before and the centerpiece of my living room was a large fireplace that we used most of the year, but I was extremely surprised when I moved to Alabama and found a huge fireplace taking up half of my living room again.
