How is the maximum volume of your M-Stage Head-amp ?

I am paring the M-Stage head-amp with my external DAC Onkyo Se-U55SX.

To get exciting I usually turn up to 80 - 90 % volume of M-Stage

I feel the the maximum volume of M-Stage is not really loud comparing to my previous head-amp Crossroad which I just need adjust to 50%.

Is this limitation because M-Stage designed to restrict the volume? How much volume is it in your system?

I am using the Beyer Dynamic DT880 250 Ohm.

Have you tried changing the gain on the bottom of the M-Stage? There are four little switches you can change and there should be a diagram on the bottom as well that shows the 4 gain settings (0dB - 20dB). I'd definitely start there if you haven't had a chance to mess with those yet. I can't personally comment on the max volume of the M-Stage as I only have relatively low impedance cans and rarely turn it past 10 o'clock with 0 gain >.>

Wow, great thanks to you, Choobaka.

I used to read this feature before I bought it, but I forget, it's designed pretty secret, lol.

Now at 40% I have satisfied my expected volume.
