Beyerdynamic DT880 - Different versions?

I'm just about to order a pair of Beyerdynamic DT880 2005 Edition. I've always thought these are the same cans as the DT880 Premium Edition, but suddenly I wasn't sure anymore. Does anybody know?

Yes, I've searched the forum but didn't find an answer to this specific question... wink.gif

These are the same, unless you buy something old/used. However, there are three different impedances available (32, 250, 600 Ohm).

Okay, the ones I'm about to buy are new so I guess that's all I need to know. It's just that people tend to use somewhat different names and at amazon.com they even have different identification numbers (ASIN), e.g. B0024NK35S for "Premium Edition" and B000OC1R7E for the "2005 Edition", which made me a bit confused.

I'm aware of the different impedances, I'm going for the 600 ohm version.

Thanks for your quick help!
