Hey all,

 

Up for sale is my Yamaha AX-497.  I'm the original owner, purchased from Crutchfield roughly 3 years ago.  I'm moving to a headphone rig (hooray apartment living) so this unit doesn't see much action anymore :(  I had it pushing a pair of Polk RTi4s and was thrilled with its performance.  It's a great amp in excellent condition--only cosmetic blemishes are two small marks on the top of the chassis as depicted in photo above.  Faceplate is immaculate as far as I can tell (few smudges in photos are from fingerprints), as well as the remote.  I dug around online and found zero of these for sale, so people who use the 497 must enjoy it enough to keep it...wink.gif

is the amp still for sale? what is the latest price? does it have any quirks (humming, buzzing, speakers dropping out)
