This is a review of a pair of free IEM's I recieved from DUNU as part of a give away contest they recently held here on Head-fi.
When I recieved my package the first thing I notices was...
Best closed headphones I had heard - very flat response, almost no midrange distortion, very easy to drive (good for portable), good soundstage (definately better than K240), good isolation, but...
Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...
I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...
I have a pair for review. As far as first impression goes - it is tuned as reference / analytical, meaning it has a fairly flat FR curve. The treble extension and detail retrieve are some of the most impressive I have ever heard (granted I am not too focus on big cans). I give it a slight bass boost and it really begins to shine.
wow it sounds kinda nice from your short impression... I hope they will distribute it to asia too, especially Indonesia, which I think they will since they are asian company. hahaha
Wow ClieOS, you already got your hand on them?!? :O
most curious, isn't most DJ headphones have bass boosted a bit? Will you do longer review on them? Thanks!
This isn't really a DJ style headphone. It is closed back no doubt, but more for reference listening like an open back than DJ.
