Beats Solo HD Wires Detached

photo.JPGThe right speaker in my Beats Solo HD has stopped playing music, so I separated the speaker from the main frame and found out that the white wire connecting the headband to the speaker had become detached. My two year warranty has already ended, so hopefully I can find some suggestions to fix them, without breaking them of course.

I think it's time for a different headphone. Read around somewhere other than your friend's brains and the TV ads and you'll find that Beats aren't as good as you believe. Search this forum and be enlightened.

It's actually really easy to fix just take a gun and use at the point of the problem, and not a soldering gun.

probably gonna have to resolder it back on a terminal most likely. i never took pair of beats apart before but it's pretty straight forward process if the wire needs resoldering to the terminal. thing i wish headphones used nowadays was clips like speaker drivers. i mean clips not very big so they would fit,so if have to get inside completely they'll just pull off the terminals like removing a speaker from a cross-over. make easy access for complete modding as well.

I think that's a calling for a new headphone.

 

 

If you want to solder it, it's an easy job (3/10 difficulty for beginners).
