My first trip to London - I stopped for petrol (see?) and there was a sign near the pumps, adjacent to the road that read :"No Football Coaches." For the longest time I wondered what BP had against the guys who coached American football.

service-stations are boxing-rings on Saturdays... bloody hard to find a venue to have a decent rumble these days in truth

I sent my impressions to Heir for the 8.a. Happy about my decision except for the courier I chose. Sent them with TNT Romania. My impressions should have been with Heir yesterday (sent on the 7th from Romania). 6 days later they are still in the Liege sorting hub. Talk about bad choice of courier mad.gif

P.S. Should I mention I paid for rush order?!

I would call them and bitch them out. Even ask for a refund if they don't deliver the service you paid for....

Farting around on the Heir Audio site and it looks like there is a sale being announced 6/14 on the 4A - At least mine are in the queue already before the rush of orders comes in - lol.

Just 4A, well that's disappointing. I could actually go for 8A if there was a nice discount. Somebody was going to sell his pair too if I am not mistaking rolleyes.gif

Slightly odd question, but do people take the heir iems outside for daily use?

Cheers

From Facebook page :-

"As the summer is coming along, our sales are also getting quite hot now. As a token of appreciation for your continuous support, we are pleased to announce 10% off for our prize winning 4.A in-ear monitors! On top of that, any order of 4.A will entitle you to receive 50% off from the art options!

The offer is effective from June 14 to July 15, 2013, So hurry up and become the proud owner of beautifully crafted 4.A!"

I guess with the advent of the ai series the 4 customs have stalled sales wise a bit and this is a nice way to stimulate them.  Or I could as usual be talking rubbish!

Seems like a good time to mention this again...I really enjoy the 4.A. Although I also have the 8.A (which I do reach for a majority of the time just because it's a great all-arounder) I still really like the 4.A for certain things, anything that's mainly acoustic guitars, plucky stringed instruments, etc. Think solo acoustic guitar singer/songwriter stuff, bluegrass, etc. That's what I love the 4.A for. Strangely enough, I like it a lot for some electronic music as well...sometimes if you have tracks where the bass is recorded very aggressively, the 4.A gives a more balanced and detailed presentation whereas the 8.A will put all that bass right into your ears and will distract from other stuff that is going on in the recording.

I find the 4.A does best with a nice amp, but that's my opinion, others may vary.

Most definitely... 4.A (when they get here) / 8.A on the go, 1plus2 at home.
