I very much look forward to being able to post impressions of the 5.0 and Rendition combo as I believe there is a very special package en route to BKK with my name on it. I have the 4ai+ and could not pass up the chance for something really unique heir.

Maybe an off white ear piece with some brown in it and a Birdseye Maple faceplate, SEXY. Or even a brown ear piece with a white tip and the Birdseye faceplate, endless possibilities.

The styling is reminiscent of the second generation LH platform of Chrysler (cab forward design).

They have that same musical yet detailed sound all you 8.A owners know, as well as stupendous amounts of bass when called for. Like the 8.A I found myself forgetting about the equipment and just disappearing into the music. I hope they will one day find their way back up here so I can properly audition them up against my 8.A. 

If you had to compare with 4A (to me 4A are a little better refined than 4Ai), even if I understand that the sound signature is different, would you say that they are an upgrade from them (4A)?
