Same same for me
OMG that is a lot money for your ear impressions.
I hardly found any audiologist in Las Vegas, so I ask Brannan if it is ok to use my own CIEM to use as my ear impressions. And, he said it was ok. I immediately sent my CIEM to Brannan right away.
Mine were "only" £50 and done by a local audiologist, who seemed very professional to me. I wouldn't trust Boots with more than a packet of hankies.
As for the postage I only paid £8.45 "Royal" Mail international signed for with tracking, which I learned too late ends at the U.K. borders.
And that's probably how far the parcel itself got after 3 weeks now.
So, what's the safest and fastest way to send the impressions from Europe to China?

...let me know if you need a cheaper alternative or had other plans for the weekend.

Thank you! I'll be knocking at Heir's door with my ear impressions, if I buy a CIEM from them!
Now seriously, it seems that using national postal services isn't a good option to send stuff to China! So what, then? UPS, DHL, Fedex or other, which is the safest choice to do it? How did you send yours, Soren?

I went with DHL, partly because we do a lot of business with them at work so we get better rates.
hi Sorensiim
Did you end up starting an 8.a and 6.a appreciation thread?
A few pages back you brought it up, I am however not sure if you created it.

My mistake was not checking before hand whether they had increased their prices.
As for postage, it was so expensive because it IS tracking to Heir's door in China(apparently) - which I wanted as the package contains my JH13 too
But did you sent it by Royal Mail too?
Yes and apparently its guaranteed delivery by the 21st Dec
But it cost you £52 to ship, right!? What kind of shipping option is that from Royal Mail, btw?
Parcel Force Global Express - updated 11pm - in International Hub.
So by the time I wake up tomorrow it will be somewhere outside the UK and we'll see if their claim that it can be tracked door to door is the case.
My impressions are going to cost me 50 bones Canadian which is rather expensive in my book. This Thursday is the big D day. I hope the impressions get done right.
