They're finally finished! And they look very nice. Congratulations. Day 30 over here now. Hopefully I'll have a couple of nice pictures to show off within the next week or so...

I was curious to see how much I would continue to viewing this thread once I received my 4.A's (it's better to listen to great music than to read/talk about it!) but I quickly decided that seeing the cool new designs that everyone else has come up with is reason enough to come back.  Now I have discovered a second great reason to come back.  After reading several posts about Fink and Ella Henderson, I had to look them up and take a listen.  I now have a Fink radio station on Pandora and he is awesome.  Now I need to go online and purchase a couple of albums.  And Ella Henderson has an amazing voice.  I will have to pick up her album too when it comes out.

Some of my friends (and my wife) think I'm a freak for spending so much money on a set of headphones but now that I have customs, I'll never go back to regular iem's.  Not only is the sound so much better, bet the comfort is in a totally different ballpark!  Music is so much more enjoyable now.

I agree too.

I'm really interested into jumping into CIEM's after having using universals for a couple years now but am worried about one thing.

I've been told by my ENT that I produce an abnormal amount of ear wax and I have had to go in for cleanings due to impacted wax the past two years. Seeing as how CIEM's get pretty deep into your ear has anyone had any experience with them causing impacted wax or issues with hearing due to wax?

As long as you clean your ears on a semi-regular basis you should be okay.

You may have to use your cleaning tool a little more often than some though.

A friend of mine has the same issue, he's been using the Spiral Ears Ref. 5 for the past year and a half with no issues.

You guys need to pick up the live album - Wheels Turn Beneath My Feet. No, seriously, just do it. Great recording quality and you can really sense the space and atmosphere from each different venue. Also, the live version of Trouble's What You're In is stupidly good. £7 for the wav download is quite fair, imho...

I get so happy when people promote Ninja Tune releases. Seems they have a talent for picking great artists. I'm not familiar with the album, but I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks.

One of the greatest (and forward thinking) labels in music history.  Music from much of the Ninja Tune roster (as well as Mo'Wax, and the like) was a seminal part of my formative years in music and remains very influential to this day.  Love those guys!

Wood, woven grass, carbon fiber, PCB, metal, mirror, glow-in-the-dark, and now ... coral!

I was curious and checked online: apple coral is a non-endangered species of coral; you can order it guilt-free! (... if you don't listen to the tiny screams of your shrinking wallet.)
