Open back headphones?

So I've been looking into getting some open back headphones after listening to the slight openness of the Panasonic HTF-600.  (keyword - slight.  I don't really know what I'm missing though.)

 

I've got ~50 - 75 to spend, since I want to save up and buy an LCD-2 in like 6 months.  According to some other threads, the ATH-AD300s are nice, open back headphones with quite the bass (which is what I want.)

 

Any other recommendations?  Anyone who can vouch for the 300s?

The AD500, AD700, and AD900 are all llight on bass. I really don't expect the AD300s to be bassy.

Just wait for the LCD-2 ~ any excess cash will be needed for the very best amp you can possibly afford.
