possible damages to HD 650 without the foam?

hello everyone.

ive tried the foam mod on my headphones and it does make difference for me.

some people say put pantyhose (lol) instead but what if i left the drivers exposed without anything to cover them, is their any damages that "happened" to some users who did this??? my hair is quite long and fuzzy so am afraid that could damage the drivers....

What I did was buy some speaker fabric from Parts Express to cover this area. It doesn't effect the sound in any way and will protect the driver a little more.
