Trs vs Ts connectors

Which should I use as a connector if i plan on rewiring my headphones?

You'll need TRS for stereo

TS is Tip, Sleeve, TRS is Tip, Ring, Sleeve.

 

For stereo you need a TRS  because you need 3 connection points. The Tip is Left, Ring is Right and the sleeve is for both the right & left common.
