Beyerdynamic T1 vs T5p

What´s the difference between these two (mainly soundwise)? They have the same price. And how do you feel about them, any good? Enough bass? Harsh highs?

I used to have T5s and loved them, especially paired with Corda Stepdance. They were quite bright and bass was weak, but I did not mind that at all as soundstaging and details were excellent. I did not have a proper setup, a full desktop rig, to try them, so it would be hard to say how they perform in an environment like that.

I now have T1s and find them considerably less bright, bass is stronger and very precise. Detail, soundstage - all great. I have paired them with Woo Audio WA2 and believe this to be the ultimate setup. Incredible. The only thing that has recently crossed my mind was to try a Beyerdynamic A1 amplifier that was created with T1s in mind.

Sounds like the T1 the winner then...

Without any doubt a more versatile headphone of the two.

You could of course also have a look at T70 series.

The T1 is the beyer flagship. The T5p is a closed version of their flagship and doesn't sound/measure as good. If you don't need a closed headphone, then the T1s are the way to go.
