New Products from Fischer Audio?

I  was browsing the fischer audio site essentially drooling at some new unneeded headphones, and noticed theyve updated a lot and added a lot of new gear these last 2 weeks. Including a new re-designed FA-003(looks much nicer now imo) and even glow in the dark sport earbuds! Also have added an option for different wood species for the FA-002 series, however im not sure how they made the wood open.

 

Was a thread already made about this or was it a sort of quiet release?

The woodies aren't open back. They should have really called those FA-003W instead (but the cups of 002s are included in the W version, that's why).

 

I would think they're pretty content with the current line-up, and won't release a new flagship for a long while. There's so many wooden cups to try, right?

That makes very little sense to me. Why call is the FA-002 if its closed actually? Dont the 002 and 003 share the same driver? And the only thing differentiating between the two is open and closed?

Like I said, the FA-002W come with FA-002's cups as well as the wooden cups.

I see that's the only thing redesigned is the metal plate.

Well, it was nice of them to include the original 002 cups as well as the woods, in case you want to compare our etc. doesn't this essentially make the 002 with wood cups, an 003 with the option to go to the 002 with a simple swap? and yes, the 003 now, the only thing that was changed was the design of the metal plate. It sort of has an HD650esque look to them now. But I like it a bit more. Hopefully it all does well, I did notice that they added a new phone though, the FA-006.
