Amping with an iPhone 4

Hi guys. I've been debating whether or not I should get an amp for my iems. I tried the Fiio E6, but realized that it offered no improvement vs my iphone. I have read that the iPhone 4 is a great source, but I'm curious to see what an amp like the PA2V2 can do. My main iem is the GR07. Please let me know whether or not I should buy the PA2V2 or just stick with my iPhone 4.

Thanks

The GR07 benefits very little to nothing from amping.

If you would buy an amp, you can go for a DAC/AMP. That way you can use it on your laptop/pc as external soundcard and on-the-go as amp on your iDevice.

An amp can color the sound but I don't feel the GR07 demands for something like that. If you want an amp to color your sound, the ZO(2) seems a better option.
