Headphones for a college student, $100-150

Hey headphone experts!

I'm looking to get some new headphones for Christmas. Right now I have the Audio-Technica ATH-FC700s which have been great since they were pretty much my first 'more than $20' headphones but I'm looking for an upgrade. Usually I wear my headphones multiple hours a day and sometimes in environments where it needs to be very quiet so I can't have any sound leakage. I've not planning on getting an amp either so it'll just be with my laptop and iPhone.

I listen to a lot of movie soundtracks/classical, stuff like Josh Groban, Imogen Heap, standard top 40 pop, electronic. So mostly stuff that doesn't require a huge bass boost.

I'm looking for something around $100-$150. I've been looking at things like the Sennheiser HD448 and Audio-Technica ATH-M50, and  I've seen around here the Shure brand but I'm open to anything. It wouldn't hurt if they didn't look clunky and unstylish.

CALs (Creative Aurvana Live) closed, nice sound, easy to drive, great price at amazon right this second.

Heya,

Look into:

TAD500

HFI 780

K240 MKII

FA-003

MDR7506

KRK KNS8400

Very best,

Assuming the Brainwavz HM5 from mp4nation are the same as the FA-003s, I'd go that route. Last I checked, they were on pre-order for $120 or so. Probably one of the best headphones at that price, according to what I've read about them.

I would suggest against the Creative Aurvana Live! in this situation. They are closed, but they have about the isolation of a semi-open headphone.
