Thoughts on purchasing these 2 items?

Hello, so I'm kind of "new" in the field and I just picked up a Technics SL-1600 turntable to go along with my DT 880 Premium 250 ohm headphones.  I plan on also using the headphones with my PC and will run rca's from my X-Fi Titanium HD sound card to a headphone amp.  My next purchases are the headphone amp and a turntable phono preamp.  I'm not looking to spend a whole lot of money quite yet on these two items....kind of starting out slow on them I think.  Anyway I have a guitar center close to me and I'm wondering if you think these 2 would be ok places to start?

Any input would be appreciated, thank you.  I understand that these aren't anything great....but I'm just looking for a decent place to start on these two items.

If your budget is around US$50 for a phono preamp, this is highly recommended.
