Hello, I need some new headphones my budget is £140 they need to be:

  • Comfortable (glasses wearer)
  • Closed back
  • Tight Fitting
  • Over Ear
  • Not oversized
  • Amp unneccesary/Not needed

I will be using them for :

  • Listening too heavy Dubstep & Drum & Bass
  • Gaming
  • Movies

All of which are on a PC

I've looked at these headphones already I can't decide

  • beyerdynamic DT770 Pro's
  • AKG K271 MKII
  • ATH M50S/M50
  • Shure SRH840
  • V Moda Crossfade LP
  • Ultrasone HFI 580
  • Fostex T50RP

Cheers

    • Ultrasone HFI 580
    • ATH M50S/M50
  • Those are my picks from the list that obviously stand out as sounding better than the others.

If you can stand a super comfortable pair of on-ear headphones I suggest the V-Moda Crossfade M80 or V80.  The LP or LP2 is honestly a far inferior can.  I have done many A/B tests using both the LP an LP2 vs the M80 and V80 and there just is no comparison.  I typically do not like on-ear headphones, but the V-Moda M80 and V80 are really comfortable and I have no problems claiming they are my favorite sub $200 ( US ) headphone.
