I had always wondered about these - well the KDX300 more so, but still this is a starting point.  Kudos for the review - THANKS!

How does the KDX300 compare to the KDX200? Are there any nice cheap iems with a biocellulose diaphragm? The only one I saw listed was $170.

I haven't heard the KDX300, but recently found this review of the KDX200, which includes a comparison to their siblings. While I concur with a lot of what he's saying (especially about highs), it's interesting that the reviewer found the KDX200's bass to lack impact in comparison with the KDX300. Well, since the KDX200's bass level is already a bit too high for my taste, I don't think the KDX300 would be for me.

Cheers for this James, always been a huge fan of the Portapros so I'm looking forward to trying these out, the build looks fantastic, :)

I already have the E888. i am looking for something new and better, preferably as an IEM rather than an earbud. The E888 is hard to find now anyway, and there have been many fakes around. I have had my E888 for over 10 years, but have been careful with it.
