Yup already did that, it only plays the WAV files I recently ripped (have not changed the program I used to rip files at all whatsoever)

Weird? confused.gif And they play in Google music? Did your Walkman app got updated after the reset?

Yea they play in Google music no problem at all.  Not sure if it got updated, it is Version 1.4.1.  Did not check what the version was in 2.3, but that one played the WAV files no problem

The latest version is 1.4.2 so you might want to try it. Otherwise I ran out of idea. frown.gif

May i ask current i am using my phone as a music player Galaxy Note 2 headphones ATH-ESW9 will the overall sound be better if i use sony z1050 mp3 player?

Updated to 1.4.2 and even rebooted but still no go :(   Can probably just use the Google music as the enhancements seem to be working with it.  Thanks for the help!!! beerchug.gif

I now have the Japanese 64gb walkman waiting for me at home. Quite suprised it reached here in 4 days (Sat/Sun included). It was shipped last Friday.

 

I have a question for the owners of the Japanese version:

 

Does the new update increase the battery life substantially? I will be using it with 320kbps files.

sony website says it will become ~34 hours after the update. please backread this thread or the f800 thread for more info. not sure if that is true though, and most likely that 34h battery life is for mp3 playback.

 

also, where did you buy your Z1070? pricejapan? and using DHL im guessing?

Japanese exporter White Rabbit Express can get this, or any other product from Japan. 

Prices are always changing, so hit the "get a quote" button at the bottom and tell them what model/size you want
