Looking to buy some over ears, have any recommendations.

Im currently have klipsch image s4s and they are good but I want to upgrade to a better pair of headphones. I am willing to spend around $400 dollars on the headphones and around $100 on a portable amp. Im not going to be bringing these headphones anywhere so portability and noise cancellation is not an issue.

I listen to rap, dubstep, electronica, trance, rock basically just a very wide range of music. I do want a decent amount of bass though. So If you have any suggestions on headphones and an amp setup that would work for me it would help a lot.

Look into a Denon D2000. Perfect for what your looking for..Great for your genres..I just got a new Audio Technica A900X and these sound awesome for your genres too as I also listen to a lot of EDM Hiphop any music actually. The HP on my signature.

Ultrasone PRO 750..deep and well defined bass. Good with rock music as well.

I use to have a 2000 and loved it.. It may not have as controlled bass as other earphones ( still good ) but its dam fun to listen to!

I actually prefer my new A900X not only cus they are new but they actually have better overall sound over the Denons. The Denons have a bit bigger Bass response but the clarity and detail of the A900X are second to none. The Bass on the A900X is tighter and reaches deep so very proper for bass heavy to bass light music..

Not too many have these as they are very much new and can only be ordered from Japan but worth the $300 they are asking for them If you want to read my initial impressions on them follow this link . http://www.head-fi.org/t/576301/audio-technica-releases-a500x-a700x-a900x/15 That being said if you brows the for sale forums here at head fi you will be able to pick up a used Denon D2000 for around $200 used. For that price I would buy one in a heart beat.
