Does a LOD comprised of a mini usb to 3.5mm stereo plug exist?

Again does a LOD with a mini usb plug(male) to 3.5 plug exist? Where can i buy if so.

The bigger issue is whether the device uses the USB as a line out in the first place - for that to work... But my initial thought is, no. There won't be a way for that to happen. Even audio only USB still uses a dedicated processing chip. An LOD from USB would just be spitting a digital signal into an analog connector with no way to use that information.

I'm not 100% sure, but I would think that the pins on the dock connector are meant for data and audio. So the same pins for audio wont be the same as for power or for receiving data. But their are a few guys on the forums that have made LOD connectors and could probably give you a bit more insight.

USB doesn't have pins, the same way that a dock connector for the iPod, etc, do... it only has 4 ...

Pin 1 +5v

Pin 2 Data -

Pin 3 Data +

Pin 4 Ground

(pin 5 on the minis is the ground and 4 is left blank or another ground, depending on which one)

So unless that specific device uses the data channels as audio left and right with the common ground, I don't see how this would work.

The main thing is what device are you using? The connector on the device may have specific pins for data transfer and for audio out. These pins may be the same, but they also may be different pins for each purpose.
