Folks, a small post that is in response to Saachi's post above, now deleted.
There was a small group of prototypers who built many of my diy amps first to prove them out before they were made generally available. This provided the test of more than one successful build before anyone else was offered boards. These prototypers have built many of the diy amps still available from various sources, including the CTH, EHHA and EHHA Rev A, SOHA II, etc.
A remnant of this group still does prototyping for CA to test out various design ideas. This group of individuals is under NDA to Cavalli Audio. The protos that they build can only be kept for personal use and cannot be sold. They cannot be used for commercial activities or to promote CA and its products. They can only be used as test amps.
The post above should have been cleared with CA before it was made and I have requested that it be removed.

Congrats!
I was wondering if there are plans to make more pre-production units of the Liquid Lightning available to other Head-Fiers for additional dry-runs. I'm extremely interested in the combination of the SR-009 with a solid-state amp, and would truly appreciate more factual evaluations before jumping the gun on a LL/SR-009 combo...

Dear Erico, what will you do with the BHSE preorder and also with the 727, 007t, Woo Wes(maxed)
Now you do need the SR Omega and HE90 to complement your excellent electrostatic amplifiers
I know you can not measure the intangible cost of happiness in economic term but do you consider
selling one or two of those? However you will be the only one who can assess which is /are the best amplifiers
for the Stax headphones
Anyway , enjoy your hobby and have fun. Congratulations on this important purchase

Dear Kiertjai,
I'm still waiting for my BHSE and don't plan giving up on Justin, yet... (it's been a one year wait already). I guess I'll bee receiving the Liquid Lightining before the BH.
I'm also waiting for my KGSSHV, which will be ready in February (before the LL or the BHSE).
Regarding the earspeakers, in fact, I don't plan on having the Omega, but still want to purchase an HE90 (the time will come...).
About the amps per se, I don't partake some opinions that an amp has to be necessarily DC-coupled to sound great. Have owning a lot of electrostatic amps gave me the oporttunity to judge the sound by my personal likings. According to this principle, I can't further comment about the BHSE or LL because I don't own any of them. Never heard to the LL, but I do very much apreciatte Cavalli's projects, especially the Liquid Fire (which all you you know is a dynamic amp), that's why I look forward to it. I have already, but briefly, tried the BHSE (not Headamp's built), which, imho, is far "better" than the WES to drive the 007, but no way, also imho, "better" than the WES to drive the 009. The WES warms the 009's bright trebles and this for me makes for an excellent match, although it could deliver more bass punch. The 727A and the 007t are DC-coupled amps and are in no way near the WES in terms of my personal preference, even considering that the 727A delivers more bass than the WES, but I can perfectly live with that. Please notice that I use the word "better" not technically, but regarding my personal preferences. I like tubes amps and I don't care about AC-coupling, but respect people who prefer solid state amps (I know a lot of people who prefer those) or even the more "pure" DC-coupled circuits.
Regards and good luck on you Aristaeus.
Erico
PS. Hi Alex, how's the LL pre-production going?

Please tell us more about your experiences on those amplifiers when you have them. I think you
will get your BHSE soon may be sooner than my Aristaeus. We all need those info to choose the right
amplifier for us as most of us can not have more than two ES amplifiers : may be one solid state and one tube
amplifer, I may consider two tube amplifiers. Liquid Lightning and KGSSHV are another best choices as
solid state amplifier and we don't need to spend too much on the tubes.

Liking my Liquid Fire as I do and knowing that there will be a Liquid Lighting coming out this spring along with at-least one other and later this summer there probably will be a new run of amps from justin, plus never owning Stax headphones or amp. I have decided to get a high powered SRM-727 and a pair of SR-009's that I should have Saturday and that way have a much better idea of what I like and don't like in a Electrostatic rig. And of-course paired with the rest of my rig.,
If I decide to keep the 727 and or 009's then I will be selling my Liquid Fire because I still have my fairly heavily modded WA5LE.

If you decide to sell the LF, please let me know about the S&H tube quad. I'd definitely be most interested.

Will do. But I am having second thoughts about selling my LF, and even If I do I don't think I would sell my S&H Quad set, and the same goes for my nos same date code 26/56 WE300B's that I use in my WA5LE.
My Stax stuff came early so I will be unpacking and hearing what they can do a little later tonight.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. I made the same move from the HE-6 to SR-009, although your amps are far different from mine. It'll be good to hear from somebody making a similar transition.
